THOUGHT OF BUDDHA
Buddhism emerged from the highly developed religious Hindu society. Many teachings of Gautama Siddhartha, the Buddha, are found in or are similar to the teachings of the Upanisadic sages.
Gautama found the secret of sorrow and at last understood why the world is full of sufferings and unhappiness, and what man should do to overcome them, through the deep meditation under the bodhi tree. Thus he was fully enlightened and became a Buddha.
Buddha is said to have preached to his disciples in the Deer Park. The teachings include the "Four Noble Truths", and the "Noble Eightfold Path" which are accepted as basic doctrines by all Buddhist sects.
". . . this is the Noble Truth of Sorrow. Birth is sorrow, age is sorrow, death is sorrow, contact with the unpleasant is sorrow, separation from the pleasant is sorrow......"
". . . the Noble Truth of the Arising of Sorrow...... thirst, which leads to rebirth, which brings delight and passion, and seeks pleasure now here, now there -the thirst for sensual pleasure, the thirst for continued life, the thirst for power."
". . . this is Noble Truth of the Stopping of Sorrow. It is complete stopping of that thirst, so that no passion remains, leaving it, being emancipated from it, being released from it, giving no place to it."
". . . this is Noble Truth of the Way which Leads to the Stopping of Sorrow. It is the Noble Eightfold Path - Right Views, Right Resolve, Right Speech, Right Conduct, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Recollection and Right Meditation."
To Buddhist, the universe is sorrowful and transient. The only stable and peaceful entity is Nirvana, the state of bliss reached by the Buddhas and Arhants (one who realized Nirvana) or perfected beings. Some scholars interpreted Nirvana as a state of complete annihilation. However, Buddha just said, "I have not said that the Arhant exists after death, and I have not said that he does not exist......" This statement suggests that the Nirvana is outside this universe, transcending both being and non-being.

BE THAT ONE TODAY
One tree can start a forest;
One smile can begin a friendship;
One hand can lift a soul;
One word can frame a goal;
One candle can wipe out darkness;
One laugh can conquer gloom;
One hope can raise our spirits;
One touch can show you care;
One life can make a difference,
One smile can begin a friendship;
One hand can lift a soul;
One word can frame a goal;
One candle can wipe out darkness;
One laugh can conquer gloom;
One hope can raise our spirits;
One touch can show you care;
One life can make a difference,
BE THAT ONE TODAY
Thought of the day
At some point you will realize
that you have done too much
for someone, that the only next
possible step to do is to stop.
Leave them alone. Walk away.
t's not like you're giving up
and it's not like you shouldn't
try. It's just that you have to
draw the line of determination
from desperation. What is truly
yours will eventually be yours,
and what is not, no matter how
hard you try, will never be
that you have done too much
for someone, that the only next
possible step to do is to stop.
Leave them alone. Walk away.
t's not like you're giving up
and it's not like you shouldn't
try. It's just that you have to
draw the line of determination
from desperation. What is truly
yours will eventually be yours,
and what is not, no matter how
hard you try, will never be

Secret of Staying Motivated
Conversation
between Guru and Shishya
Shishya: My
question to you is, that in today's generation. People think that Sadhus,
saints are fraud but sir what my question is still you manage to motivate
thousand and crores of people worldwide. What keep you motivated?
(Nice question)…….
Guru: Do you
find me as fraud?
Shishya: “Not
at all Guru”
Guru: I am a
simple and small person in Sanskrit there is verse which says,
Mukam Karoti
Vachalam
Even a Dumb man can speak,
Panghum Lagayate girim
Even a lame man can cross the
mountain,
Yati
Kripa tam a ham vande
Shri
gurum dina tarinam
It is by the grace of Shri Guru and god that
one can do what we are doing and therefore if you ask me what is my motivation
to keep going? I don't even think that I'm inspiring millions or corers as you
said, people are watching and people are
hearing it is not my knowledge, it is
the knowledge coming from the god, it is the knowledge coming from the my Guru,
and so many other monks in the monastery from whom I learn. I simply act as the
microphone. A microphone simply an amplifier the voice of a speakers. So if
there is something that's motivating the people it’s not me .It’s a knowledge
and the power of that grace, that is the behind me, which is unseen to your
eyes. You can't see that but that's life that I live. When you don't see me on
the screen. I am in a monastery, in a small litter room .Every morning practicing
my Spiritual sadhana, every
morning connecting to god through the chanting the holy names. Every morning I
sit and listen to the other Monks. I am not only speaking I
sit there, I hear others, I learn
from them ,I am tremendously inspired by the picture that I showed you Srila Prabhupad, his life.
I am tremendously inspired by his example and my Guru, who tirelessly keep on
going and serving. If there is anything that motivates me, it's my chanting,
it's my hearing and company of my guru and other like-minded monks, that's so
what keeps me going so if you have that company you will also be able to do.
